Until 2013, Casa Magoni only produced their wines for friends and family. Once they decided to commercialize, they knew that they wanted to offer the highest quality possible. All their wines are vinified exclusively with their own homegrown grapes, ensuring notability.
They have now vinified more than 70 commercial varieties, using techniques like cold maceration, open tanks, varying yeats, and delestaging, mixed with traditional and old-missionary winemaking.
They offer Manax, Chardonnay, Rose, Sangiovese Cabernet, Origen 43, Merlot Malbec, Nebbiolo, Olio Magoni, and Balsamico Begoni.
3. The most peculiar winery
Vena Cava is definitely the most unique winery in Valle de Guadalupe if not one of the most unique in the world.
Founded in 2005, this organic vineyard is entirely comprised of recycled materials, giving them new life an purpose and minimizing the impact on the earth.
In fact, all the ceilings are old boats!
Vena Cava, creates a variety of elegant, old world, red wines which are mixed with the fruitiness and vitality that encompasses our new world. These wines are prepared using a barrel fermentation and natural winemaking methods, without pesticides or artificial fertilizers.
They produce Espumoso, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, and a Big Blend.
